Art project with the theme of travel.. any ideas of what I can do and explore?

Mixed media or collage would be ideas that would allow a great deal of originality and creativity. Think beyond the literal to time travel, space travel, underwater travel etc. What about mental travel through books or other media? What is the purpose of travel? Maybe you should do a mind map to totally explore the concept and that will lead you in a direction.
