First crochet project ideas needed?

Potholders, potholders, potholders! Those little squares are easy to learn and can be sewn or crocheted together to make blankets, throws, doilies, or even clothing. Those little things are handy for so many things. I'm guessing that if he gets started he'll come up with ideas of his own "for men" that we women haven't thought of. Good luck and get him going.
