The people were given authority over the government here in the US..the constitution was written to prevent government from interfering in our lives. In socialism...a very large government has authority over everything in your life. A government that is big enough to give you everything you want is large enough to take everything you have. Tyrant governments tend to be ociated with socialism, communism, fascism, corporatism...pick the name you want to use..they ALL violate human rights...history shows nothing but.
