Yankee millionaire players?

I might be wrong I might not, but would it be safe to say that whenever the Yankees sign a big name guy like Mark Teixeira, AJ Burnett, CC Sabathia, or Javier Vasquez they tend to suck or slump? Im not sure how Tex was when he played for the Angels or the Braves and had the slow starts but man, that one game he struck out like 5 times and then AJ has sucked ever since he signed with the Yanks, same for Javi, but I think any AL team he plays for he sucks. CC...He's not doing too bad I mean he's having an awesome season this year. Would it be safe to say that once they sign they slack because fo the long term big money contract?
