Hey guys I just got a Corn snake it went into my backyard the other day, I bought a heating pad for it and a light for the top, I'm trying to take good care of her. The temp says its always between 75F to 86F so it seems okay, but I'm not sure how she's doing.I got some mice and today I thawed it out and I put the mouse infront of her but she won't eat it. Can I leave the mouse in the tank? If so for how long, how should I get her to eat, thanks!

What's wrong with my computer speakers?

I went out with this girl and she told me she had a great time and looked forward to doing it again. BUT I think I scared her away. Meeting new people..?

I moved to a new city 9 months ago, so i have been meeting new people allot lately. I think I have a tapeworm?

For like 4 months now, I've been EXTREMELY nauseous, having widespread pains in my abdomen, low appetite or none at all and losing MAJOR weight. I am 5'10 and I've been no more/no less than 152 lbs. Now I am 119 lbs without having exercise. Everytime I eat, I get sick! I haven't vomited but sure fell like I was going to. The doctor diagnosed with GERD at first but the medicine (Nexium) wasn't working. They also put me on a Carnation Instant Breakfast/protein diet so I could gain weight. My weight STILL decreased. This took place two weeks ago when I was 122 lbs. Today, I had to get a depo shot, which I don't think was a good idea but yeahhh. I have a referral to the GI doctor on Tuesday which they should've done a LONG time ago. Any ideas? I really need some guidance.

yea. i had that towards the last couple weeks. they are just braxton hicks. mine hurt really bad as well. Its just your body preparing for labor, and it can mean that you are dilating. your not in labor tho, until the pains become consistent and come every five minutes or less, and don't go away and keep getting stronger.

I have a 30 gallon aquarium with a marigold swordtail, a blackskirt tetra, 8 neon tetras, and an otocinclus. It has bright lighting, medium water flow because of a strong filter, and all fish are happy and content, although I have snails that I just can't get rid of! I have a small rock with a hole in the middle that a fish larger than the blackskirt tetra can swim through. The rocks are white, and are pretty hard, ie not good for a fish that would want to dig. I also have three artificial plants, two of which are good for shelter, and one real stem plant that is on the verge of death because of the snails. What fish might I want to get?

I've noticed for a while that I have been writing words down on paper such as fine and writing it as 'fien', does as 'dose', etc. I do not mean, like, typos, I mean like actually writing it with paper and pen. I just write things the way they sound sometimes on accident. Is it just an accident or is it something like dyslexia? Thanks~

Are there some natural cures for my mental issues?

My family is riddled with bi-polarism, manic depression, substance abuse, and..just lots of anger in general. I feel like I have a handle on my own mental state, because I recognize the issues I was brought up with.. but sometimes I really do feel like I'm going out of my mind. This is typically brought on by breakups- and I tend to seriously scare my exes off. My aunt, 86, lives alone & has been diagnosed with Alzheimers. She's suppose to take Aricept. If you talked to her, you would not be aware that she had any deficits. However, she doesn't take her medicines regularly; misses paying bills; burns up pots & utensil handles on her electric stove; LOSES things but doesn't accept this fact. Her once neat, clean home now has stuff all over the place--including her bed. She doesn't recognize some stuff she's had for years as being hers (thought someone had stolen her purse and put her stuff in a strange purse); can't tell that food is spoiled (we don't know if eats the spoiled food). She doesn't want anyone trying to "get into her business"--family can only help by taking her shopping etc. The Det. Agency on Aging can't help if she's unwilling. She needs someone to come in a few times a week & help with the house, bills etc. but doesn't want this. Her 2 grown children live out of state & want help. Any ideas? Thank you.

Good road bikes from 300-400 dollars?

Don't buy from bikes direct. They're running sort of a scam. Not really cause you get a bike for what you pay but the bikes are made in taiwan and the company is really sketchy. I looked into it a while back. The bike names they use like mercier and motobecane were good bike makers a while ago but went out of business. Bikes direct m produces these bikes and stamps the names on them but they are not made by the original companies. The bikes may be sized wrong or not be in the appropriate proportions. That's what I remember but you should check it out. If you want a good road bike at a decent price, check craigslist. Buying used bikes is the best way to get a good deal. You can talk down most of those people. My boyfriend got a cannondale caad8 with an ultegra/105 mix for $600 but you can probably find one that fits your budget. Good luck on your search!

I totally agree with that. Everyone is brought up in different ways and manages things in their life differently. Even if the government made us all the same in terms of the amount of money we earned in a year and the items we have, we would still all spend it differently. Why doesn't my husband like me?

In one of our numerous fights lately he commented on how I never want to look pretty for him. (as a side note our fights deal with some of my accusations of him cheating because other people came to tell me he was cheating but he still swears over our kid's lives he hasn't). That was like a punch to the stomach because I think I am pretty. Everyone tells me I am pretty. I have always had guys tell me my whole life I am hot/pretty/y. A few years ago (when I was age 18-25) I had two separate modeling contracts and did a couple jobs. I don't want to sound vain, but I never had a problem with how I looked. It is only since I met my husband that he tells me how disgusting and unattractive I am. I have straight, dark hair. He wants me to have curly blond hair. I have fair skin and have a hard time tanning no matter how hard I try. He wants me to be really tan. He makes it sound like all of our problems are because I wouldn't even try to give myself curly, blond hair and a dark tan. If I am comfortable with how I look then why can't he be. He wants me to be the complete opposite from what I am. And now my self-esteem is so shot I am starting to believe I am actually ugly and I am worthless. I am starting to feel uncomfortable around people in public too. It is so not me to think this way. But he has been telling me steadily for years now little things and recently he has been putting me down any chance he can get. This includes several hours worth of criticism in one day to where I have to leave or "fall asleep" to get him to shut up so I don't have to listen to it anymore. I have never ever crtiticised him about his looks or anything. He is definitely not perfect but I never saw any flaws because I love him so much. I never even had a thought to tell him something was wrong with him because I love him the way he is. How can I politely ask in-laws to cover their coughs around my kids?

My in-laws were visiting over the weekend. My father in law sounded congested when they arrived, and he coughed all weekend without covering his mouth. It really bothered me, since I have three very small children, but I didn't know what to say. Yes I am dissapointed in Chris Brown as well. I wouldn't necessarily use harsh words, but he could have handled the situation differently. Awww honey, I know exactly what you're going through. I had acne so bad from the age of 14 until like 20. And it was horrible. I finally started going to my Dr about it and they tried EVERYTHING. You may want to go to your doctor and try some antibiotics (pills) and something called Cleocin-T (topical). And then if that doesn't work you may want to talk him into letting you try Accutane. It's a very controversial drug that most Dr's are afraid of prescribing, but it's AMAZING!! After years of acne and trying everything, accutane did it for me! My face looks a million times better and I'm so confident now. Just make sure you learn about all of the precautions while taking it and be careful not to get pregnant while on it. wait-did you take the PSAT or a practice SAT? i'm guessing the latter, as a.the PSAT, SAT's and AP's are all made and administered by the college board, while the princeton review makes review books for all those tests. secondly, the PSAT doesn't have an essay, while the SAT does. for now, those aren't great scores(for a junior), but you will see them go up through the next 3 years before you take the SAT's and actually study for them. i don't know how these scores compare to other freshmen, but they certainly aren't bad. also, its probably best to get the essay scored by an english teacher, as they will really know how to score it. essentially, by keeping up your grades in school, your scores will improve drastically, and you can do more SAT specific stuff in junior year, when you can really get an idea of what colleges you'll get into. good luck!

Has anyone ever noticed that Google won't autofill "inappropriate" searches? For example, it won't help you type "" into the search box. I'm a college student right now, and as much as college is suppose to be fun there's times when we must work. I don't know which country you are in so can't give a definites answer as I don't know how the law will affect this where you are. In the UK many small businesses are run with names that have not been registered with the authorities. As long as the bank knows that this is your "trade name" you should have no problem banking the cheque - indeed you may care to change the name on the bank account to J Bloggs trading as Joe Soap and then there would be no problem at all. Otherwise you may have to take evidence to show that the other name is your trade name. You should also of course let the tax authorities know your trading name.

LGBT Completely Desensitized and Confused?!?

Ive recently come to terms with the fact that I might be bi-curious (im a guy btw) but, after coming to this realization, ive become completely desensitized. Ive always been attracted to girls for as long as I can remember, its just been who I am, ive gone on a few dates and loved every minute of it, but for the past few years ive noticed physical reactions when I come into contact with other guys. I know that coming into contact and being by guys doesn't make me biual or gay, but ive also been having these (and very enticing) thoughts of being with other men. All this has been happening over the past few years but its only been within the past week and a half that ive come to realize im bi-curious. I don't have a lot of male friends, everyone moved away to go on to colleges all over the country while im stuck in community college (which sucks btw) so I really don't have any real way of confirming whether or not these feelings are real. But that's somewhat beside the point (enough of my own pity party "boo hoo all my friends left me" crap), in the past 3-4 days (ever since I started second guessing myself) Ive completely desensitized myself of all emotions pertaining to affection in both girls AND guys. This new guy started working at the grocery store where I work and all day long I really couldn't get my mind off him, but it wasn't physical attraction, (even if he was kinda cute i guess) or possibly even emotional attraction, (like I said, desensitized to all emotions) it was just so confusing. For most of the day almost all the thought in my head were about him, I just wanted to touch him by "accident" just to see if I reacted (I didn't react btw but Halle berry could have walked into the store completely naked and I wouldn't have even flinched) and Im just so confused cause I honestly CAN'T feel anything right now. Its like my mind was saying "your totally into this guy" but where my heart was, all I could feel was this great big hollowness, and I didn't feel any stirring of emotion all day long from anything. During my lunch break I tried thinking about this extremely hot girl I say a few days ago (on a normal day it would have been the best daydream ever) but my body didn't so much as twitch in any way, shape, or form. As if I wasn't confused enough I don't know how to "re-sensitize" myself, If I did then I wouldn't be asking this question. Bengal ant killer sold at Walmarts. I have spent hundred and have tried everything on the market from cheap to very very expensive. I have tried herbal remedies. I have tried gas, oil, bleach, vinegar. You name it I have tried it. This is the only thing that is on the market that works. Texas I believe is built on one big ant hill. So I have become an expert on the darn things. But now we have the new crazy strawberry ants that kills off the bad ants. They are just showing up in Texas. They look like a fire ant. But if you place your hand down by them they get on buy dont bite. So I am careful not to treat these ants with ant killer. I think it is Mother Nature finally giving us a defense against the bad ants. If you ever get bit by ants use vick menthol rub on it. It takes out the sting and itching.

Will CA Smog istance program pay for a tune-up to help p smog?

I have been unable to p the CA smog for my 1999 VW Jetta. I paid for a new catylic converter and two smog tests ($400 total) and still didn't p. I was not told about the istance program until after the repair and second failure. I've applied for istance but have since read that tune-ups help a car pass smog. (My HC is 110 and max is 100). I'm thinking I just might need a tune-up to help pass and maybe a fuel additive to help. Noone has advised me this way, I read this online. Should I wait for the program assistance (I haven't heard back from them yet.) Will they even pay for a tune-up if that's all is needed?
